Training

At RTM we strongly believe in the upliftment of our employees and people from the local communities. We commit ourselves to:

• Firstly maintain competency levels
• Secondly to uplift our current employees as potential succession candidates, and
• Thirdly, provide opportunities in our local communities for skills upliftment as well as equipping the youth to potentially fit into our organisation

We have extensive training needs and our preferred training provider is IRT Training (Pty) Ltd and is conveniently based close to our operations in Sasolburg and Secunda.

IRT Training has accreditation with the following SETA’s:

• Services SETA:
  • The only training provider accredited and equipped to provide competency training for our HP/UHP and Vacuum operations
• merSETA:
  • Health and safety related and site specific entry requirement training
  • Team work skills programmes, and
  • Team leader development skills programmes
• CETA:
  • Working at heights, and
  • Scaffold related training requirements

IRT Training also liaise (quality assure) with other training providers to provide a holistic training approach as well as providing Skills Development Provider service delivery to meet legislative requirements.
